All Day, All Night & Every Night

As far as we know, we are the only place in Vietnam open 24/7. Joe’s is an excellent choice after going full on at Pogo, Wax or Sankara till late. A place to talk, sip coffee or indulge in a bottle of wine with great sandwiches and desserts served all-night.

Its 2am and you are sitting in the dark, waiting in front of your guest house. Will it come at 2… or 3am? Don’t laugh—but we aspire to become the official bus stop of Mui Ne. Ask to be picked up at Joe’s, where we are open all night, and have a good time till the last minute. Located between the backpacker area and the prime hotel district.

The doors of Joe’s are always open, and are covered in messages and ads. If you want to buy or sell a surfboard, or leave a note for someone special, our doors are open to you. Big Screen, Soft Sofas: On nights with no other event planned, Movies are available. Films are Scheduled in High season. In low season, come pick out a movie and take over the loft filled with plush pillows, bean bags and soft pillows. Watch new or old releases projected on the other wall of the farmhouse with a high quality sound system while getting great service for food, coffees, wine, cocktails and beer.

Atmosphere at Joe’s: We wanted to keep the old farmhouse while providing cleas new comfortable surfaces. That’s why we added so much black tile and glass for eating and working surfaces, soft sofas and lovely antique Garden beds create sense of being in the middle instead of being stuck outside. To keep the charm and beauty of an old farmhouse while providing clean and elegant surfaces to relax and dine, to sit alone or share. Seating in the patio: Choose a sofa or wicker chairs, glass wood and black tile under a kite surfer’s canopy, ripstop material, oranges for a bit of sunset colors any time of day, greens and blues to bring out the natural colors in our potted plants, gardens and papaya trees. Atmosphere where it’s easy to talk, to meet other travelers but also easy to turn a bit and be in your own little world with a book or computer on free wi’fi, or on the net with someone special from home. Loft overlooks the living room where exposed brick adds to the Mediterranean feel.

Why McDonalds is successful: The have found ways to produce and sell things that people are willing to pay for, but would never steal. Think about it, there is nothing in a fast food spot you really want… not for more than a glimpse of your life. Steal ketchup… No, Joe’s is the other kind of place, the kind of place that is disappearing in the world quickly and the kind of place I remember so fondly from my days living in the mountains of Japan. There are personal touches everywhere, from the care of gardens and lighting and even the furniture… things of real value, art…
